Historical note

Frank Buhler, active church member and Christian businessman, was born on July 23,1905 in Grigoryevka, Southern Russia. On June 26, 1926 he married Maria Pauls. In October of that same year they emigrated to Canada with Buhler's mother, Maria A. Buhler and three of his siblings. They settled in Haskett, Manitoba, initially and then moved to Morden where he worked as a welder for Standard Gas Engine Works. After 19 years he started his own business, Buhler Motors Limited. He became an active member of Gideons International of Canada and the Christian Businessmen's Committee. Buhler was also a founding member of the Morden Alliance Church. During these years he and his wife had six children. He was predeceased by two sons. Frank Buhler died on July 27, 1982.

Scope and content note

This fonds contains three sermons written to be presented at Gideons prayer meetings and rally.
